What to expect
We'll spend 90 minutes exploring your favorite Seattle neighborhood while I document the candid moments. You choose the location, or I can recommend spots based on your vibe. Expect gentle direction, easy conversation, and light posing if needed. A session that feels more like a date than a photo shoot.

We'll start with a quick consultation to choose your perfect Seattle spot (or I can recommend locations based on your vibe). Then we'll spend 90 minutes exploring together while I document the real moments. You'll get your gallery of 35-40 edited images within 2-3 weeks, plus one fine art print to display.

I'm a Seattle-based photographer specializing in natural, editorial portraits that capture real connection. My approach is relaxed and documentary-style. I am also inspired by fashion photography, so I bring an editorial flair when it makes sense.
I want you to feel like you're on an actual date, not a photo shoot. These sessions are for couples who want something authentic, timeless, and true to who they are right now.
I believe it is so important to have couples' photos done throughout your history, from the early days to decades in. Also, fun is welcome on these sessions too!

What should we wear?
Wear what makes you feel like yourselves. I recommend coordinating (not matching) with neutral tones or colors that complement each other. Avoid busy patterns or logos. Wear what you would wear on a date! I'll send a styling guide once you book if you'd like.
How do you help people feel at ease in front of the camera?
I'm all about creating a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere. We'll start with some easy conversation to get comfortable, and I'll guide you through natural movements and interactions rather than stiff poses. My goal is to capture you as a couple! I've found that when people focus on connecting with others or with their surroundings, the best moments unfold.
How do we choose a location?
During our consultation, we'll talk about your favorite Seattle spots or the vibe you're going for. I can also recommend locations based on lighting, scenery, and what will photograph best.
Do you offer film and digital?
Yes! I shoot both film and digital, and often combine them in a session. Film has this beautiful, timeless quality, with gorgeous grain and color depth, while digital offers greater flexibility and a larger volume of images. We can discuss what feels right for your vision and budget during our consultation.
What if the weather is bad?
Seattle weather is unpredictable! We'll monitor the forecast and reschedule if needed. Rain and overcast skies can create beautiful, moody images.
Can we bring our dog?
Absolutely! Pets are welcome and often make the session even more fun and natural.
Can we invite friends or family?
These sessions are designed specifically for couples, but if you'd like a group session, reach out, and we can discuss a custom package.
