There's something magical about photographing someone you've known for years, especially when they're living their creative dream. This brand photography session took me to my longtime friend's abstract art studio on Western Avenue in Seattle's Pike Place Market. Walking into her space, I was struck by the natural light filtering through windows, casting shadows across vibrant canvases and paint-splattered easels.
We captured the essence of her artistic process - from quiet contemplative moments to dynamic action shots of paint meeting canvas. The Pike Place Market location added urban authenticity you can't replicate in traditional studios. Her trust in me created the comfort that allowed for genuine, unguarded expressions that make authentic business portraits shine.
This project reminded me why I'm passionate about working with local Seattle businesses and artists. I can't explain how rewarding it is to help small businesses and creatives showcase their talents and brand story through professional brand photography.
